Why we all want to have summer-holidays..

• We want to have summer-holidays because then is summer and we all like summer! In summer it’s hot and sunny and you can swim in the pool or in the sea because it’s so hot and you can enjoy yourself in the sun.

• The second reason why we like summer-holidays is that we haven’t got to learn for school this two months. We haven’t got to sit in our rooms all afternoon long to study and to do our homework. We can go out and we can do what we want and we never have to think that we should learn something for school!

• A usual schoolday: Half past five in the morning, I have to get up, have a shower and go to school. So I’m tired all day long.. but now think about summer-holidays: Half past elven, so just some minutes before midday and I can sleep and do nothing. I haven’t got so get up so early in the morning and so I can stay out longer in the evening because I don’t get tired.

• Another reason for summer-holidays is that you haven’t got to go to bed so early, because you are able to sleep longer in the morning. So you can go to partys, to your friends or so on and you can stay very long at night. It’s like two months long just weekend.

• A main reason for summer-holidays is also that there’s time to go on holiday. You can go to Italy, France, to Spain etc.. But while schooltime you haven’t got two weeks or longer to stay in another country.

• One of the most important things is also that you can meet your friends all day long, you can sleep at their place and you have never got to think about coming home, because you haven’t got to go to school, so why coming home? Or why shouldn’t you go to your friends all day long and never think about doing your English-homework, learning for Latin or making the experiment for Physics? You have time enough to do everything you want with your friends!!

But we have just got to wait 21 days for the great summer-holidays!!!

Our Summersportweek:

From May 19th till May 23 the 4th form from our school went to Niederöblarn. We went there by bus and when we reached at our hotel, my friends and me got a bad information: We wanted to sleep in one room together, that means Petra, Jenny, Anna, Yasi and me. But the teachers told us that there are just rooms for three people, so I was in one room with Yasi and Bibi. But the day went on and after lunch, Yasi and me went to play tennis and it was great fun!! We had a small tennis-group with nice girls and so we enjoyed playing tennis. After dinner we were allowed to go to the tennis-hall, to the gym or in the park. At half past nine pm we had to go to our rooms and at ten o’ clock we had to turn off the light and our handys, but did never go to bed this time… We were speaking and laughing and having fun some hours. Then we fell asleep and next day we had to get up at half past seven am and then we were very tired.

I think it was the best week in this school-year and I’d really like to go on “holiday” with my friends again!!

At the summer-sports-week my friend Yasmin, Bianca and me often listened to the song “Hey there Delilah” from the Plain White T’s. Once, Yasmin asked Bianca to give her the camera and then she got the idea to write new lyrics for the song “Hey there Delilah”:

Now I want to describe my best friends Yasmin, Anna and Petra. I can’t live without them anymore..

So I’ll start with my best best friend: Yasmin, or also called Yasi

Her full name is Yasmin Zedan and she lives in Petzenkirchen in Lower Austria, she was born on February 26th, 1994, so she’s just nine days, six hours and one minute younger than me.

Yasi’s hobbies are listening to music, especially to Arabic music and Green Day. She also likes shopping, reading books, writign e-mails with her friends and her family in Syria and meeting her friends.

We have already had very funny times and I think, I had the best time in my life with her..

But we sometimes quarrel and then we don’t speek to each other some days, but we always speak about our problems and then we are happy together again..

I don’t want to lose Yasmin, my best best friend!!

On April 26th many people from Austria came to Vienna to run rounds round the “Wiener Rathaus“. My friends and me went by inline-skates. We started driving 650 m round the Rathaus. At the end of every round we got a stamp on a card.. After one hour, we went to eat a little snack and then we drove on.. At 12 o’ clock the race stopped. My friend and me had run 27 rounds, that means 17,55 kilometres. Everyone of us had a sponsor and got some money per round from them. This money goes to poor children and so on. At the end of the race, we all were very tired and we enjoyed a relaxing bus tour back to Wieselburg. It was a very funny and arduous day.

From March 3rd to March 7th there was a project called “English in Action” for the 4th form of our school. Some Native Speakers from Great Britain came to Wieselburg to teach us. It was very funny because we didn’t just learn the English language, but we also played games and made little projects in groups. For the last day we had to practise projects and sketches. We got together in small groups and started to create posters and write texts for the pressentations. Then we also formed some groups to write sketches. We began practising for the presentations and sketches on Munday. On Friday we were allowed to study the sketch in the first lesson and in the fifth lesson we presented our projects to our class. At half past twelve some parents came to school and watched our sketches. It was a very funny week and it really helped us to improve our language skills.

At the beginning some facts about the band: The four members are John Winston Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The band was founded in 1962 and finally dissolved in 1970. Famous songs are: Help!, Yellow Submarine, Yesterday, Let it be, Hey Jude, She’s a woman, Hello Goodbye and many other songs.

Now we’ll tell you something about the four members of the band:

The first member we want to talk about is John Winston Lennon. He was born in 1940 and killed in 1980 by Mark David Chapman. He was one of the singers in the band, he played the guitar and also the mouth-organ. Mark David Chapman killed him, because he thought the he was the real John Lennon. In 1962 John married Cynthia Powell. Their son, called Julian, was born in 1963. In 1969 John married Yoko Ono, with who he got another son, Sean.
The next member we want to describe is the richest British musicer, Paul McCartney. He was born in 1942 in Liverpool. He was a singer too, but he also played the guitar, the bass and the drums. His wifes were Jane Asher, Linda Eastman and Heather Mills. His children are Mary, Stella, James and Beatrice Milly. He even adopted Linda Eastman’s daughter Heather. Now he is the richest musicer from Britain.
The next musicer in the band is George Harrison, who was born in 1943 and died in 2001 because of cancer. In the band he sang and played the guitar. He married Patti in 1966 and Olivia Arias in 1978. With her he got one son, called Dhani.
The last one in the band is Ringo Starr. Everybody knows him as ‘Ringo Starr’, but just a few people know his real name, which is Richard Starkey. Richard was born in 1940 in Liverpool. He married Maureen Cox, with her he got the children Zacharias, or also called Zak, Jason and Lee. Once, Zak was a member of the band ‘The Who’ for a while. In 1981 Ringo Starr married Barbara Bach from the USA.

Now just Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are alive. Since 2006 Paul McCartney has been at TV more often, because he left his wife Heather Mills.

Michael Jospeh Jackson was born on August 29th 1958 in Gary, Indiana. He’s an American Entertainer. The whole world got him to know for the first time when he sang with his brothers and sisters, the Jackson Five. So he startet his career.

There are many statements about Michael, but nobody knows if they are right or wrong: Many people say that he raped a young boy, but there are too less evidences to say this statements is right. There’s also the problem with his skin’s coulour. It’s original colour is brown, but now he has a pale skin. But MJ himself says, this is becuase of an illness, called Vitiligo. So his skin gets more pale everytime. One more statement about Michael is that he operated his nose very often. He says, it’s true that he operated his nose twice. When he was doing a advertising for “Pepsi” a firework touched his face and so he had to operate his nose. Later he had to do this for a second time.

Michael Jackson owns a ranch in the USA, the Neverland-ranch. This is a park, especially for children.

Some time ago he sang three of his songs with other famous stars, like Will i am or Akon.

He got many prices for these records:

* most bought album (Thriller)

From February 11th to February 17th, we had our winter-holidays!

On Sunday, February 10th, my parents, my brother and I went to Salzburg, to a great hotel. The hotel has got a big swimming pool and a whirlpool. After breakfast we went to Gaissau to go skiing and at four o’ clock we came back to the hotel and there we went swimming till the great dinner startet at six. There I also found a nice friend, called Melanie from St. Pölten. In the evening Melanie and I often sat in the big coffe-room in the hotel and had very much fun there. Now we are also writing e-mails and sms. On Friday, February 15th, my family and I went back home to Lower Austria.

On February, 16th five of my friends came to my place and we celebrated my birthday. We played “Singstar”, went for a walk through Golling at night and ate very many pizza, chocolate, chips and so on… On the next day, February, 17th, was my birthday! I was born at 03:47 in the morning 14 years ago, so my friends sang “Happy Birthday” at this time. Then I got presents at this time too. On the next day, in the afternoon, my grandparents and my aunts and uncles and so on came to my place and we also celebrated my 14th birthday! I got many money, clothes and other stuff I like! ….now I’m 14 !!!!!

So, the great week ended and on the next day we all had to go to school again….
